Exotic Vegetable - Chili Pepper, Piment

Dwarf and Super Dwarf Chili Pepper, Piment
Capsicum -

These dwarf varieties are well suited for our short summer. The small red fruits are intensively hot. The super dwarf variety can also be grown as a bonsai on your kitchen counter, a convenient living spice rack! Young leaves and tips are also used in soup.
Dwarf variety grows to 1-2 feet. Super-dwarf variety grows to 6 inches. Both have white flowers and super-hot red fruits, with pointed end facing up.
Seeds can be sown indoor 4 weeks before frost-free date. Full sun or light shade. Can grow in almost any well-drained soil, potted or in the garden. Dig the plant up in fall and grow the potted plant in a sunny location indoor for continuous supply of chili peppers all year. Harvest red fruits in summer to use fresh, or to freeze for use later in winter.
